Shinonome-so, test comment posted

Shinonome-So is located in the central area of Kinosaki Onsen, just seven minute’s walk from Kinosaki Onsen Station, making it convenient to visit the bathhouses and stroll along the willow-fringed Otani-gawa River.

We recommend Kojinmari for the Japanese ryokan.

Mika and her family was wonderful and made our Kinosaki visit a relaxing and enjoyable dream away from big city travels in Japan. We recommend Kojinmari for the Japanese ryokan experience and close proximity to the baths.

A great hostel with a really good location. The japanese breakfast is a must, it’s delicious!! The onsen upstairs is great, unfortunately we didn’t have a great view of Fuji but we really enjoyed the soak. The only downside is the traffic light playing music from 7am until 10pm.

We were made to feel very special night.

We were made to feel very special night from collection at the station by the individual attention given to us. Helpful and welcoming. Everyone took time to answer our slightest question, even despite the difficulties of language differences. Our meal was exquisite; an enlightening experience. To improve, we could only suggest more written instructions in English might be helpful.(Labels to tell shampoo from conditioner, for example.)

Nice place to stay and very close to Kyoto Station. However quite far from actual Kyoto ‘city’ area such as Gion etc. But the Kaori the guest house manager was superb, spoke english and was a one woman show did everything from cleaning, running reception. I would stay here again.
