Get off the train look across the street you are home , nice warm clean , on the top floor is a onsen looking at MT FUJI WOW ! what a view , the owner is great picked us up when we were lost , curfew there is nothing to do in this place afther 11pm anyway , you can surf all night in the basement internet lounge , great place.

Ryokan Wakamiya has a perfect location, less than 5 mins on foot from Kyoto station which is full of great dining options and shops! And was very easy to find using the map provided on the Ryokan website. Dinner was served in the room and it was a totally cultural experience which you must try! Breakfast was served in a common area but was very cosy and personal. The staff were very polite and friendly, a bit difficult to communicate with them at times but that adds to the flavour of a Ryokan.

The guesthouse has a warm & Welcomiang atmosphere.We really appreciated the hot drink and snack, and enjoyd. Mika talking the time to talk to us and give us valuable advice on the local area. The room waz very clean and homely and we had long able to choose our yukatas. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the guesthouse and would love to come back ourselves .

A wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everything we needed for our stay was here. Our stayhas been very relaxing. Thank you for your beautifl hospitality! Ms and Mr Horiuchi are wonderful hosts. Location, it would be helpful if the directions on your website detailed how long bus rides are leg 2 hours from Shinfuji to Kawaguchiko station. A timetable would also be good.

The house is so lovely and deeply to touch tourist heart! It was so wonder to met host who was so kind and pretty! I felt so comfort able to stayed here like home! I think that will be back again to stay and visit again. Thanks! Chita hostel!
