I loved this hostel. The room was spacious. Perfectly situated overlooking Mount Fuji. I also loved the traditional aspect of having a futon to sleep on with Japanese robes and green tea and cutlery in every room. Best hostel I stayed in Japan.

Stayed at Kawaguchiko Station Inn, Mount Fuji Yamanashi Pref.
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. My party of three (ages 27, 57, and 84) spent 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Our room could accommodate 4 people in beds! Exceptionally clean. English-speaking owner. Near convenience stores. a supermarket, restaurants, and shops. Common area has lots of natural wood, a view of the garden, fridge, microwave, WIFI, free coffee and tea.

Stayed at B&B Pension Hakodate-mura, Hakodate in Hokkaido
I will start saying everithing was wonderfull, the location local very close to station and restaurants. The atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful. A good idea would be put curtain in the bedroom because the lights of the cars are bright. Security is not necessary We don’t lock the door we felt so secure. Supper was incredible!! Very nice but we would apreciate a little Explanation about elaboration, type of fish, what to eat first!! thank you for everything!! ARIGATO!!

Stayed at Minshuku Kuwataniya, Hida Takayama
We enjoyed especially the nice and friendly atmosphere! The dining was excellent. As foreign guests we enjoyed the special attainment of Ms yasuda to give us detailed information about the culture, the region and specialties of the area. She had enough time to inform us in English language. We felt very safe in all aspects! We were picked from the station. The near surrounding nature and hiking. We visited the Hida Folk-village also.

Stayed at Yasuda Pension, Hida Takayama.
The owner is really nice, was delighted that me and my friend could speak Japanese but I also heard her speak English with some other guests and shes really good at it. The place is very clean, located next to Higashihonganji meaning its very close to both Kyoto station and Shijoudoori, the city core. Plus its relatively cheap. It could not have been better.
