Stayed at Yasuda Pension, Hida Takayama.
Warm, friendly, helpful atmosphere. We felt very safe. The tourist center gave us directions but it was easy to bet back to. The day of rain made it not so nice to walk around. Kuwataniya’s daughter helped us to find the restaurant. We enjoyed the breakfast and the onsen. Ask English people if they need help to figure out what to do. Thank you for a lovely 2 days.

We stayed at Minshuku Kuwataniya, Hida Takayama
The atmosphere is very nice and authentic. Highly recommendable to foreign visitors. The staff were very friendly and room was clean. Furo (onsen bath room) is nicely decorated, especially the outdoor ones. Sure it was safe. Of outdoor attractions, the snow monkey park was the top. Nice streets of Shibu Onsen are also worth a stroll.

Stayed at Wafu-no Yado Masuya Yudanaka Nagano Pref.
Riokan muy comodo, con habitaciones muy amplias, baño compartido val iejo estilo, con cocina, muy cerca del la estación de la tokio imposible perderte. Lo mejor fue la atención de la Kaori, habla inglés perfectamente y es la persona mas agradable y hospitalaria que vas a encontrar en Japón.

We stayed at Chita Guest Inn, Kyoto
The meals were very good and my favorite room was the dining room, very pretty. We felt very safe in the hotel. It was very easy to find and a very short distance from the train station. We enjoyed the old town here. Hida no sato was very interesting. We really appreciated the free use of the internet. Would recommend that you not stay here if climbing steps is difficult for you.

We stayed at Minshuku Kuwataniya, Hida Takayama
Our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 baby) really enjoyed our stay here! The room was clean, nice and perfectly Japanese. The location was great. The owners were super friendly and helpful: we got rides to the monkey park and boots to borrow. We also got a private time in the onsen, with a little baby bath for the baby! Couldn’t have found a better place to stay! (Oh yeah, and the apples in the lobby were the juiciest I have ever tasted!)
