My family and I would like to say thank you for your warm hospitality during our 1 night stay in Kawaguchiko Station Inn. We had a good time staying at your place especially we would be able to see the beautiful view of Mount Fuji. Thank you also for making bus arrangement for my family to Kyoto. Now, we’re back safely in Jakarta, Indonesia. Hopefully we can have another chance to visit Kawaguchiko again and stay at your beautiful place. Please find the pictures that you took.

Good First Experience.

My daughter and I spent three nights in this ryokan, the first and only on the our week trip. Compared to some, this is not pretty from the outside. However, the rooms work well and despite having no English of note, the staff are very friendly and try hard to help you. The breakfast was very interesting and worth a sample, at least for one go. The ryokan is very near the main train station and this means that you can get around Kyoto easily on public transport. The Wi-Fi was a little patchy but if you are on floor three (as we were) you can often pick it up in your room - which avoids you having to go to the lobby. I did use the onsen once for the experience - nice and relaxing if slightly underwhelming.

I have stayed in the inn twice and both times, I really enjoyed staying there. The owner was very nice and recommended places to go as well as the timing to go the places. What is more, the place gives a homely feel whenever one comes back to rest. Definitely will return back to the place if coming back to Kyoto.

Everything was perfect! Not far away (5 min walk) from a station of the most important line in Tokyo (JR Yamanote Line), very cosy & clean, free wifi and PC use, smoking room, big towels, hair dryer, shampoo & shower gel provided, electric kettle & mini fridge inthe room, VERY silent at night! I really didn’t expect to get such good accomodation for this price in the middle of Tokyo. I’d definitely recommend it. The staff was also very friendly & helpful!

We came to Kawaguchi-ko to climb Mt fuji and found this place great. Right opposite the train station ( very easy if you have a bit of luggage) and 20 metres walk to catch the bus up to the 5th station on Mt Fuji. The staff were friendly and we had a nice sized japanese style room for the two of us with hot green tea waiting for us in our room. There is not a lot of atmosphere here as its not a hostel, but a perfect no fuss place to stay.

Affordable Kyoto Ryokan experience

Central location, very easy to get around by walking and mass transit. Very close to Kyoto Station. Nice customer service and affordable ryokan experience. The rooms were clean and futon bedding was soft and comfortable. The onsen hot water baths on the top floor are a neat touch. I only wish the food had be more affordable so we could have given it a try. This is a great budget option.

Fabulous Homestay!

Quaint cottage homestay. The owners stayed in Spain before and cooks a mean seafood paella. The rooms were clean, the surroundings were quiet. And did I mention that the food is fantastic! Great Value.

I really enjoyed staying in this Ryokan. The atmosphere was enchanting. Khaori (the staff) was really nice, very helpful and very friendly. I could meet a lot of other travelers there, it was very easy to interact with them in the common area. The location was great, very easy to find and near to the station, where the busses leave for going everywhere in the city. I found this place very comfortable…I felt at home!!! I highly recommend it to everybody!!!
